Job summary

Sonatype is seeking a Renewal Specialist to drive on-time renewals and strategic expansions across a portfolio of software subscriptions. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to optimize renewal terms and profitability.

The role emphasizes proactive engagement, detailed contract handling, and a focus on customer success across global accounts. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume renewal environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to discuss contract compliance, expansions, and pricing with customers.
• Extreme attention to detail to ensure paperwork is accurate and on time.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Close renewals and related expansions in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting.
• Review renewal information, usage data, and subscription history to align on renewal options.
• Identify future renewals and engage customers well before expiration to ensure on-time renewals.
• Educate customers on relevant subscription options based on goals.
• Coordinate renewal quotes and ordering documents per company policies.
• Aim to ensure customers are successful and delighted with services.
