Job summary

Sonatype in the United States is seeking a Renewal Specialist to proactively manage on-time renewal and potential expansions of software subscriptions. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to close renewals and optimize customer value.

You will review renewal data, educate customers on options, and coordinate renewal quotes and documents to ensure mutual execution per policy. Strong attention to detail and willingness to work odd hours for global coverage are

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume activity environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to discuss contract compliance, expansions, and product pricing with customers.
• Extreme attention to detail to ensure contract paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
• Ability to work odd hours and support global customers during periods of high volume.
• Interest in modern software development and related technologies.
• Strong preference for candidates located in EST or CST.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to efficiently close renewals and related expansions.
• Review renewal information, usage data, and subscription history to agree on renewal options.
• Proactively identify future renewals and engage customers well before expiration.
• Educate customers on renewal options based on goals and product/service roadmap.
• Coordinate preparation of renewal quotes and ordering documents and ensure mutual execution.
• Help ensure customers are successful and delighted with Sonatype products and services.
