Job summary

Sonatype seeks a dedicated Renewal Specialist to proactively manage on-time renewal of software subscriptions and optimize contract terms. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to renew and expand our footprint, ensuring profitability while maintaining subscription integrity.

The role suits someone comfortable with high-volume activity, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and discussing contract pricing with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume renewal environment.
• Ability to discuss contract compliance, expansions, and product pricing with customers.
• Extreme attention to detail to ensure contract paperwork accuracy and on-time execution.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting to close renewals and related expansions.
• Review renewal information, usage data, and subscription history to agree on renewal options.
• Proactively identify future renewals and engage customers before expiration.
• Educate customers on renewal options based on goals and product roadmap.
• Coordinate preparation of renewal quotes and ordering documents per policy.
• Ensure customers are successful and delighted with Sonatype products and services.
