Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead renewable high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects. You will manage projects from pre-construction through closeout, partnering with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver reliable utility infrastructure.

Open to candidates with transmission/ distribution experience and a travel-heavy role requiring up to 75% travel, mostly Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation construction.
Experience managing utility-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of high-voltage construction methods, sequencing and safety requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical specifications.
PMP certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Manage transmission and substation projects from award through turnover.
Oversee pre-construction planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
Partner with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
Conduct constructability reviews and assist with estimating and work planning.
Develop and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.
Lead client meetings and manage change orders and invoicing.
Ensure documentation and quality control throughout construction.
