Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC seeks an experienced Project Manager II to lead high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects from award through turnover. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, cost control, and client satisfaction while coordinating with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors and inspectors.

Required: bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, PMP within 60 days, 3–5+ years in transmission/substation work, willingness

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation construction.
• Proven experience managing utility-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from award through final turnover for transmission and substation construction.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Conduct constructability reviews and assist with estimating and work planning.
• Serve as primary client liaison; lead meetings and provide status reporting.
