Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Engineer – Renewables to lead and manage the proposal process for renewables projects, coordinating pursuit teams, schedules, and content to produce compliant, compelling submissions.

You will develop technical approaches, assist with cost estimates, and ensure proposals align with client objectives while improving proposal tools and workflows. This role emphasizes collaboration across Sales, Technical Services, Field Services, and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, structural, mechanical, or civil) or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-6 years of experience in proposal development, project management, technical writing, estimating support, engineering support, or related work in Power, Renewables, infrastructure, or consulting environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to organize technical information into clear, client-focused proposal content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, documents, and stakeholder inputs.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, influence without direct authority, and communicate proactively to keep proposal activities moving forward.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Lead Renewables proposal efforts from intake through final submission, including planning and scheduling.
• Review RFPs and client requirements to identify gaps and compliance needs.
• Develop proposal documents, exhibits, and sales materials using templates and brand standards.
• Research and write proposal content ensuring accuracy, persuasiveness, and compliance.
• Create PDPs, manage assignments, and coordinate proposal development.
• Develop project cost estimates with inputs from technical and pursuit teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams on technical approaches and resource needs.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to drive timely completion of proposals.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and execution considerations in proposals and communicate them clearly.
• Set up and maintain proposal collaboration tools and trackers.
• Manage proposal revisions, approvals, and final PDF production for on-time submissions.
• Coordinate final proposal packaging and electronic delivery per client instructions.
• Support proposal closeout and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
