Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Civil Design Engineer in Renewables to join our Civil Renewables Department. You will collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical design teams and clients to craft innovative solutions for renewable projects, including site grading, earthwork calculations, and design support.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) and EIT registration, with 3–5+ years in civil engineering, preferably in renewables.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT registration is required or in progress.
• 3–5+ years of civil engineering experience; renewable energy project experience preferred.
• Experience with large-scale site grading design and earthwork calculations is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques to civil, structural, and electrical design tasks.
• Develop plans, specifications, and observation reports aligned with industry practices.
• Assist in alterations to development criteria and design features to improve quality.
• Perform design computations for civil site design and earthwork calculations.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to define optimal solutions.
