Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams across civil and structural renewables projects. You will guide design, ensure quality, and align deliverables with client requirements and safety standards.

You will also drive strategic project delivery, mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with sales and proposal teams to grow business opportunities across North America.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in Civil or Structural.
• PE license or eligibility preferred.
• 10+ years civil/structural design experience, 5+ years in renewables.
• Leadership experience in complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication, budgeting and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and technical services oversight for team performance.
• Lead cross-functional renewable energy projects from design through completion.
• Manage budgets, schedules, change orders and resource planning.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct regular performance and promotion discussions.
• Support hiring and collaboration with HR and project management.
• Promote client relationships and business development initiatives.
