Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking an Energy Market Leader for Renewables to guide strategy across wind, solar, energy storage, and interconnection. Based in the Pacific Northwest and Western states, you will partner with leadership and a technical team to grow the Renewables practice and expand client relationships.

You will shape growth, oversee market intelligence, and position DEA for long‑term success while coordinating with utilities, developers, and strategic partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management, environmental science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in consulting, engineering, energy, renewables, utility, or EPC/EPCM.
• Experience achieving sales/objectives with net sales of $2M-$10M.
• Experience leading business development, pursuit planning, and contract positioning.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets (wind, solar, BESS, interconnection).
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and deliver results.
• Professional licenses or credentials relevant to the field.
• Active involvement in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Renewables market strategy with leadership, client teams, and delivery teams.
• Diversify the renewables client portfolio and expand relationships with developers and utilities.
• Develop market intelligence on renewables players, funding trends, and interconnection needs.
• Strengthen relationships with owners, developers, and strategic partners.
• Drive growth plans, pursuit strategy, proposals, and contract positioning.
• Build trusted client relationships and guide senior client-facing interactions.
• Support growth in services like balance of plant, interconnection, and energy storage.
• Ensure staffing, delivery capacity, scheduling, risk management, and profitability.
