Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) seeks a Renewables Market Leader to drive the growth of the Renewables practice across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, and California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management, environmental science, or a related field.
• 12+ years in a complex consulting/engineering/energy/renewables organization.
• Proven success in business development with net sales between $2M and $10M.
• Experience leading business development, client strategy, pursuit planning, and proposals.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets (wind, solar, storage, interconnection).
• Active involvement in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Renewables market strategy with Energy Business Unit leadership and delivery teams.
• Diversify renewables client portfolio with developers, utilities, EPC/EPCM, and partners.
• Develop market intelligence on renewable developers, interconnection, and technology trends.
• Strengthen relationships with owners, developers, utilities, and partners.
• Guide pursuit strategy, proposals, and contract positioning for renewables opportunities.
• Build trusted client relationships and mentor client-facing teams.
• Support growth in balance of plant, substation, storage, and interconnection services.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure staffing, delivery, and profitability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, construction management, environmental science, or a related field
