Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a sales professional to grow its Power & Water Solutions Renewables portfolio across North America, focusing on utility-scale solar, BESS, and wind. You will own a regional account book, lead negotiations, and deliver compelling technical demos.

The role demands a strong consultative sales approach, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 75%. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and an incentive program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
• 3+ years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping the market and engaging potential customers.
• Collaborate with existing customers to uncover new projects where Emerson PWS solutions deliver value.
• Develop competitive strategies by providing differentiation insights, pricing recommendations, and leading negotiations.
• Deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase new products, enhancements, and services.
• Recommend tailored technology and service solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share updates with PWS management to guide strategic decisions.
• Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
• Achieve annual bookings and margin objectives within your territory.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update the CRM system regularly.
