Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Systems Sales Specialist to join our regional sales team in a remote-based role covering the Western United States. You will advance key account strategies and build strong customer relationships across power utility, renewables, and data center generation markets.

You will apply your sales expertise to influence Emerson’s Power & Water Solutions business, develop pursuit plans, present product demonstrations, and forecast accurately within the CRM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in process control industries such as power generation, water/wastewater, and renewables.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen customer relationships across power, renewable energy, and data center sectors.
• Deliver value-focused sales strategies, including pricing insights.
• Coordinate and present product demonstrations and technical overviews.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and provide updates to leadership.
• Lead pursuit plans, proposals, and negotiation activities.
