Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Systems Sales Specialist for the Western United States to drive strategic account plans across power, renewables, and data center markets. This remote-based role supports the Regional Sales team, building strong customer relationships and delivering value through demonstrations and tailored solutions.

You will lead pursuit strategies, stay ahead of industry trends, and coordinate with internal partners to expand Emerson’s Power & Water Solutions footprint across Colorado,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in process automation or energy sectors.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers across power, renewables, and data center sectors.
• Deliver value-focused sales strategies, including competitive differentiation and pricing insights.
• Coordinate and present product demonstrations and technical overviews to showcase solutions.
• Maintain awareness of utility trends and emerging customer needs for leadership updates.
• Lead pursuit plans, proposals, and negotiation activities with strategic accounts.
• Represent Emerson at meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences.
• Recommend technology and services aligning with customer requirements and goals.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive long-term account growth and PWS footprint.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM updates.
• Engage executive leadership to expand Emerson’s footprint in the western US.
