Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager to join the Renewable Energy team within the Client Accounting Advisory practice. This role focuses on delivering accounting, advisory and technology services for client engagements, including monthly close, financial reporting, and tax considerations, with a strong emphasis on risk management and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience leading CAS/CAAS engagements in a public accounting firm.
• Proven ability to drive month-end close processes and deadlines.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with consolidations, GL close and financial reporting.
• Renewable energy project experience is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Hands-on experience with ERP tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite or Sage Intacct.
• Strong project and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Renewable Energy accounting team.
• Deliver client work products on time and with quality control.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensuring goals and budgets are met.
• Review work and perform self-checks prior to final submission.
• Develop proficiency with technology used for client engagements.
• Identify process improvements for client work and practice operations.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Communicate issues to leadership when needed.
• Adhere to firm policies and professional ethics.
