Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking an Audit Manager to join our fast-growing firm. This role centers on managing audit and other attest engagements in the renewable energy sector, under Partner direction.

You will supervise staff, strengthen client relationships, and help increase office profitability. The ideal candidate has a CPA and 5–8 years in public accounting, with strong GAAP knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Expert understanding of GAAP and U.S. auditing standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced and varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing and technical issues.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
• Supervise and mentor staff, guiding technical learning and development.
• Complete annual performance evaluations for assigned staff.
• Assist Principals and Partners with identifying and pursuing new clients.
• Develop high value-added opportunities from technical knowledge.
• Promote the Firm’s image through panels, publications, and trainings.
