Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring a Senior Associate for the Renewable Energy Client Accounting Advisory team. The role supports accounting services, including monthly financials, close processes, and client deliverables with a focus on renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (CPA preferred), GAAP expertise, and strong communication skills. The position offers a remote work arrangement with possible office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, CPA preferred but not required
• Lead month-end close processes and deadlines
• GAAP experience with consolidations and financial reporting
• Renewable energy project costing and transfer
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• MS Office proficiency; advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, BILL
• Project and time management skills
• Accuracy and detail-oriented; self-starter

Responsibilities

• Support the Renewable Energy accounting team and deliver client work on time
• Lead month-end close processes and ensure deadlines are met
• Perform self-review of work prior to final submission
• Develop proficiency with technology and mentor staff
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed
• Identify process improvements for client work
• Build positive client and internal relationships
• Communicate difficult situations to leadership
• Follow firm policies and promote the firm
