Qualifications

• 5–7 years in HLBV modeling or renewable energy project finance.
• Experience with tax credit transactions including modeling and tax concepts.
• BS/BA in accounting, finance or economics or related analytical field.
• Masters, CPA or CFA are a plus.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HLBV modeling engagements using accounting, tax, and finance tools and methodologies.
• Prepare, review and analyze HLBV models and deal structures.
• Review partnership structures and closing documents.
• Help clients optimize GAAP earnings allocations for tax credit projects.
• Model economic and tax components of transactions and track ROI.
• Lead client discussions on results and potential enhancements.
• Oversee staff supporting engagements and develop their skills.
