Job summary

Stride, Inc. is hiring for a remote Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end biweekly payroll using Workday for the 50 states. You will ensure accurate tax withholdings, reconcile payroll periods, and respond to employee inquiries via the ticketing system.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll with Workday experience and a solid grasp of local tax rules; a HS diploma or higher is required. This position is remote and US-based.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, Associate's degree or professional certificate.
• 5+ years of payroll experience including Workday payroll.
• 3+ years of Workday payroll experience or equivalent combo of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process end-to-end biweekly payroll for exempt/non-exempt employees.
• Reconcile payroll between periods and review prorated wages/deductions.
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings and reciprocity rules; handle tax notices.
