Our client in the United States is seeking a Workday HCM Solution Lead to guide the technical direction, architecture, and governance for the HCM platform, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with enterprise standards. You will collaborate with architecture, security, data, IT delivery, and business stakeholders to shape platform standards and drive sound decisions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Deep Workday HCM expertise across platform capabilities, configuration, integrations, security, architecture, and operational considerations.
- Experience serving as a platform solution lead or senior technical lead accountable for platform strategy and delivery outcomes.
- Strong understanding of HCM architecture, lifecycle management, integrations, security, data, and business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to assess complex technology decisions and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience leading cross-functional work involving IT Delivery, Architecture, Security, Data, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and recommend the HCM technical strategy and architecture for approval by IT HCM portfolio leadership
- Evaluate platform capabilities and emerging functionality using deep Workday HCM expertise
- Establish architecture and platform standards to ensure cohesive user experiences and data integrity
- Partner with the finance systems solution lead to align architecture and governance practices across platforms
- Lead HCM architecture decisions and coordinate with enterprise teams on shared capabilities
- Define architecture and guardrails for AI and emerging technologies in alignment with enterprise standards
- Evaluate approved roadmap items and provide technical guidance during execution
