Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior Workday HCM Architect to lead platform strategy, architecture, and data across HR and finance. You will define standards for configuration, integrations, security, and reporting while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and security practices.

You will partner with the Workday FIN solution lead to coordinate cross-platform dependencies and drive architecture decisions that impact multiple domains, including AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep Workday HCM expertise across platform capabilities, configuration, integrations, security.
• Experience serving as a platform solution lead or senior technical lead.
• Strong understanding of Workday architecture, lifecycle management, integrations, security, data, and processes.
• Ability to communicate recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional work with IT Delivery, Architecture, Security, Data, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend the Workday HCM technical strategy, architecture, operating model, and standards for IT HCM prioritization.
• Advise on Workday HCM priorities for the 18-month portfolio roadmap.
• Establish Workday HCM architecture and platform standards across configuration, integrations, security, data, and reporting.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, and change management standards.
• Partner with the FIN solution lead to align architecture, standards, security guardrails, and governance.
• Define architecture for AI, agents, automation, and emerging Workday capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure delivery excellence and roadmap execution.
• Govern Workday HCM platform technology risk, debt, and lifecycle management.
