Job summary

Consulting Solutions is seeking a Workday Technical Lead to own the technical strategy and direction of the Workday platform, guiding integrations, security, data management, and platform optimization. You will lead design, development, and troubleshooting while directing internal staff and global partners.

The role combines hands-on execution with team oversight, prioritizing work, reviewing solutions, and ensuring quality delivery across HR, Finance, and Operations initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise applications, with 6+ years hands-on in Workday.
• Workday Extend development and production experience with Workday AI agents, Illuminate or ML-driven automation.
• Experience with Adaptive Planning (models, sheets, data loads) and Prism Analytics.
• Middleware/iPaaS experience (Boomi) and integrating Workday with Azure AD/Entra ID.
• SOX ITGC and audit support experience. Agile delivery using Jira and case-management tools.
• Technical lead experience on HR or Finance transformation projects such as implementations, migrations and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Manage the full integration inventory, the error-handling approach and the health of daily runs.
• Gather requirements from Finance, HR and Operations stakeholders, then turn them into technical designs, data mappings, interface specs and level-of-effort estimates.
• Lead design reviews with partners and downstream system owners and manage day-to-day work for internal staff and external partners.
• Enforce delivery commitments and quality standards through design and code reviews and formal sign-off.
• Develop and maintain Prism Analytics data pipelines and datasets, and build Workday Extend applications and orchestrations.
• Own the two-way data flows between Workday, Adaptive Planning and Snowflake.
• Configure, integrate, test and deploy approved Workday AI agents, Illuminate capabilities and automation use cases.
• Lead semi-annual Workday release readiness for integrations and data; coordinate sandbox refreshes and migrations.
• Maintain runbooks, technical documentation and integration system security; perform SOX/ITGC controls and gather audit evidence.
