Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks an experienced sales professional to consultatively sell Payments Solutions to complex client groups within Commercial Community Bank, Business Connect, Small Business Banking/Direct, and Wealth Management. You will drive cash flow and working capital solutions while mitigating risk and aligning with Truist's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 5 years of sales experience in financial services or payment solutions.
• Must have or obtain Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) within 12 months of entering position.
• Experience conducting business via virtual methods including interpersonal communication, negotiation, proactive client contact, building rapport, understanding client needs, conducting in-depth financial reviews and effectively communicating solutions.
• Strong knowledge of how a business operates and the financial solutions needed by the aligned business segments, including the sales process and cycle.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage a large pipeline of deals in various stages.
• Self-starter with the ability to work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plan and collaborate with lines of business to identify and drive client sales opportunities to achieve revenue and portfolio growth.
• Foster relationships with bankers and product partners to identify opportunities and engage in strategic client planning.
• Independently manage a large portfolio of clients with complex payments needs and strong working capital knowledge.
• Develop detailed relationship plans for clients/prospects to identify retention and new client acquisition opportunities.
• Proficient in working capital services, including receivables, payables, information reporting and liquidity solutions.
• Escalate issues and risks to leadership as needed and maintain compliance with policies.
• Consult with clients via email, phone, or virtual meetings to assess needs and present solutions.
• Report accurately on sales efforts and revenue progression.
