Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) seeks a strategic Manager to shape Western policy and market engagement for energy customers. This remote role reports to the Director of Western Policy and drives policy initiatives across Western electricity markets.

You will oversee program priorities, manage cross-functional teams and consultants, engage regulators and policymakers, and help fund CEBA’s long-term West strategy. Strong communication and coalition-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in energy, policy, corporate sustainability, or utilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in clean energy policy.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues, generate innovative solutions, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and help execute CEBA’s Western strategy to expand options for energy buyers to procure carbon emissions-free electricity in the West.
• Oversee the execution of assigned programmatic priorities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Develop thought leadership materials, including white papers, reports, and policy briefs.
