Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) is seeking a strategic Manager, Western Policy, to shape state and regional policy efforts. The role focuses on accelerating clean energy deployment and advocating on behalf of large energy buyers across Western electricity markets.

Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, you will coordinate CEBA’s Western programs, engage policymakers, regulators, and members, and help develop funding to support CEBA’s long-term West impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in energy, policy, or utilities.
• At least 1 year of experience in clean energy policy.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and generate innovative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shape Western policy strategy and execution for energy buyers.
• Engage with regulators, policymakers, and stakeholders to advocate CEBA positions.
• Lead cross-functional projects with budgeting and timely delivery.
• Manage consultants and external partners to achieve program goals.
• Represent CEBA at industry forums and coordinate stakeholder convenings.
• Support funding development for CEBA's West impact.
