Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) seeks a strategic Manager to shape state and regional policy efforts across the Western U.S. This role drives market structures to accelerate clean energy deployment and amplifies the voice of large energy customers.

Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, you will guide Western programs, coordinate with policymakers, regulators, CEBA members, and external partners, and help develop funding for the West's long-term impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in energy, policy, sustainability, or utilities
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry
• Minimum 1 year experience in clean energy policy
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to CEBA’s Western strategy and expand energy procurement options.
• Oversee execution of programmatic priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Develop thought leadership materials such as white papers and policy briefs.
• Advocate with regulatory agencies, policymakers, and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and manage consultants and external partners.
• Engage with policymakers and CEBA members to advance policy initiatives.
