Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) seeks a strategic Manager to shape Western policy efforts, accelerating clean energy deployment and amplifying the voice of major energy buyers in Western electricity markets.

Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, you will lead cross-functional teams, engage policymakers, regulators, and CEBA members, and coordinate external consultants to drive policy, market, and programmatic efforts aligned with CEBA's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in energy, policy, corporate sustainability, or utilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in clean energy policy.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues, generate innovative solutions, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shape Western policy strategy to expand clean energy options for buyers.
• Oversee programmatic priorities with deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Develop policy white papers, reports, and briefs.
• Engage regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional projects and supervise consultants and external partners.
