Job summary

Corporate Energy Buyers Association is seeking a strategic, collaborative Manager to shape state and regional policy efforts in the Western region. The role supports Western programs, coordinates with policymakers, regulators, CEBA members, and external partners.

Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, you will drive market structures to accelerate clean energy deployment and assist with funding development for CEBA's West impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in energy, policy, corporate sustainability, or utilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in clean energy policy.
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Western strategy to expand options for energy buyers to procure carbon emissions-free electricity in the West.
• Oversee the execution of assigned programmatic priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Develop thought leadership materials (white papers, reports, policy briefs).
• Advocate for CEBA's positions with regulatory agencies, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration and supervise consultants and external partners.
• Lead relationships with government agencies, policy makers, public utility commissions, businesses and NGOs.
