Job summary

ANDRITZ, a global leader in paper industry solutions, is seeking a Remote-based Service Account Manager to cover the Western United States. You will cultivate key customer relationships, identify opportunities, and drive service sales while partnering with engineering and service teams.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 80%), a strong background in pulp and paper, and a proven ability to grow account revenue while delivering value and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pulp and paper.
• Knowledge of ANDRITZ Stock Preparation and Paper Machine Service.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage time and organize accounts.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory (≈80%).

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow customer relationships throughout the Western U.S.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities across ANDRITZ Paper Service products.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, project management, and product teams to deliver solutions.
• Lead customer meetings, technical discussions, presentations, and account reviews.
• Maintain territory plans, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines in CRM.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and drive long-term account growth and retention.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity in the pulp and paper industry.
