Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, West for a remote position focused on growing revenue in the solar energy sector across the West region. You will own the full sales cycle, build relationships with renewable energy developers, EPCs, and installers, and drive market expansion from lead generation to closing deals.

Location: Remote. Compensation is $120,000–$140,000 annually. A strong network in renewables and proven ability to onboard customers are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B selling experience, including 3+ years in the photovoltaic solar industry.
• Strong existing network of renewable energy project developers, regional installers, and EPCs.
• Reside in the Northwestern US and within one hour of a major airport.
• Proven ability to onboard new customers effectively.
• Experience creating quotations and purchase orders and managing logistics.
• Technical sales proficiency with value selling and market penetration strategies.
• Ability to build relationships with decision-makers at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs.
• Identify and generate new leads through face-to-face meetings and industry events.
• Collect and analyze customer and competitive information to inform sales strategies.
• Achieve sales volume, revenue, and market-share targets for the territory.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, including CRM data entry and order processing.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to secure new sales opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
