Job summary

ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager - West to develop and manage strategy and relationships with large contractor accounts in the West region, including cross-functional collaboration within ABB’s IBC team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 12 years of experience within the electrical industry incl working with contractors and distributors in CA, Pacific Northwest, Mountain and Chicago area.
• Strong understanding of Electrification products and quoting projects for contractors.
• Experience in market analysis and business development plans with a solid structured approach.
• Technical background with experience with low/medium voltage electrical equipment preferred.
• Willingness to travel; preferred base location in NV, AZ, UT or CO.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
• Understanding key business drivers and translating them into impacts and opportunities for ABB.
• Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account with long-term plans.
• Defining sales targets, monitoring market price developments and competitors' activity; ensure responses.
