Job summary
ABB Inc. is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager - West to develop and manage strategy and relationships with large contractor accounts across the West.
This remote role reports to a Sales Manager and sits within ABB's Industry, Buildings and Channel (IBC) team, supporting growth and customer satisfaction. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field as required.
- 12 years of experience within the electrical industry incl experience with working with contractors and distributors in the West region is a requirement.
- Strong understanding of Electrification products and experience with quoting projects for contractors.
- Experience in market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach.
- Technical background with experience with low/medium voltage electrical equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
- Understand key business drivers and translate them into impacts and opportunities for ABB.
- Participate in development of sales strategies for the account.
- Define sales targets and monitor competitors' activity with the account.
