Job summary

ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager – West for the United States. The role focuses on strategic account planning, growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across large contractor accounts in the West region.

The position is remote but prefers candidates in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City or Denver. Responsibilities include leading account plans, understanding key business drivers, and conveying opportunities to ABB’s Electrification IBC team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12 years of experience within the electrical industry incl experience with working with contractors and distributors in the California, Pacific Northwest, Mountain and Chicago area is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
• Coordinate executive relationships within key accounts and monitor pipeline and projects.
• Define sales targets, monitor market developments and respond to competitors’ activity.
