Job summary

ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager - West to develop and manage the strategy and relationship with large contractor accounts in the West. The role is remote with preference for Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City or Denver, supporting ABB's Electrification IBC team in the Western United States.

You will lead account plans, translate business drivers into ABB opportunities, and drive growth while coordinating executive relationships and tracking pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; marketing degree acceptable.
• 12 years of experience within the electrical industry with contractors/distributors in the California, Pacific Northwest, Mountain and Chicago area.
• Strong understanding of Electrification products and quoting projects for contractors.
• Experience in conducting market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach.
• Technical background with experience with low/medium voltage electrical equipment preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed; preferred base location Nevada, Arizona, Utah or Colorado.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
• Understand key business drivers and risks of the global customer's business and translate them into ABB opportunities.
• Participate in developing sales strategies for the account with current and long-term plans.
• Define sales targets and monitor market price developments and competitors' activity for the account.
