Job summary

ABB is seeking a Contractor Key Account Manager - West to develop and manage the strategy and relationships with major contractor accounts. The role serves West Region customers and is part of ABB's Industry, Buildings and Channel (IBC) team, focusing on growing share of wallet, profitability and customer satisfaction while coordinating cross-functional activities.

This is a remote role with preferred base locations in Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; or Denver, CO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; marketing degree or equivalent.
12 years in electrical industry with contractors and distributors across specified regions.
Strong understanding of Electrification products and contractor quoting experience.
Willingness to travel; base location preferred in NV, AZ, UT or CO.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
Understand key business drivers and risks of the global customer and translate to ABB opportunities.
Contribute to sales strategy with current and long-term customer plans.
Define sales targets, monitor price development, and respond to competitors within the account.
