Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive growth in the K-12 segment. The role is remote and covers the Pacific Northwest and broader West Coast territory, excluding California.

You will lead prospecting and manage a pipeline alongside SDRs, guiding school district administrators, facilities directors, and business officials from problem identification to FMX adoption. Familiarity with Salesforce and Gong is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing or selling role, preferably in K-12 or public sector.
• Experience selling into K-12 school districts strongly preferred; public sector experience valued.
• Willingness to travel to manage a multi-state territory.
• Experience working in a remote sales environment.
• Able to navigate complex sales cycles with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM and Sales Engagement platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication; coachable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a territory in the K-12 segment across multi-state regions.
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
• Build relationships with district customers and understand their operational challenges.
• Guide potential clients through the sales funnel, including platform demos and contract negotiations.
• Educate administrators on FMX products and implementation expectations.
• Maintain accurate data in Salesforce and collaborate with SDRs.
