PackGene Biotech is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives from a remote Bay Area base. The role focuses on expanding our gene therapy services to biotech, academic, and government clients, with a strong emphasis on strategy and relationship building.

You will collaborate with technical support, project management, and production teams to ensure profitable initiatives and quota attainment, while traveling as needed to client sites and conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant sales experience in biotech/CRO/CDMO markets.
• Ability to manage sales pipelines and forecast weekly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 40%+ across regions.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales in designated territory by executing sales/marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with technical support, project management, and production teams to meet quota.
• Generate new business with industrial, academic, and government clients; visit customers.
• Maintain pipelines and close opportunities through effective follow-up.
• Understand customer needs and align PackGene’s services to their research goals.
• Share market feedback with Tech Support and Marketing teams.
