Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (Gene Therapy) for a remote-based role centered in the San Francisco, CA area. You will drive sales growth across the West Coast, manage territory, engage customers, and leverage Salesforce (SFDC) to support sales execution and planning.

You will promote our Advanced Therapy Solutions portfolio to biopharma, biotech, CDMO, academic, and hospital accounts, build lasting relationships with scientists and executives, and develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering required.
• 3+ years of gene therapy field experience with hands-on exposure to cell culture, transfection, chromatography, and TFF.
• 1+ years of customer-facing experience; sales or public speaking beneficial.
• Proficient in Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities for customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and revenue by promoting gene therapy-focused products across the West Coast.
• Execute a focused territory growth strategy in alignment with sales leadership.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities using strategic planning and tools.
• Build and sustain relationships with scientists, researchers, and executive decision-makers.
• Manage CRM execution, leads, opportunities, and pipeline visibility in SFDC.
