Matica Biotechnology, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager - West Coast to represent our cell and gene therapy development and GMP manufacturing services to potential clients.

You will drive growth by generating qualified opportunities and guiding them through the sales cycle from lead generation to securing business. This role is home-based with a West Coast territory, requires 2+ years in BD/Account Management in biotech, BS in a related field, strong communication and CRM skills,

Qualifications

• BS degree in related scientific discipline.
• 2+ years in Business Development / Account Management in CDMO/biotech/Life Sciences.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of clinical development phases for therapeutics and vaccines.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute targeting campaigns to support lead generation for identified capabilities.
• Generate and manage leads from multiple sources to deliver qualified opportunities.
• Be the first point of contact to prospective customers, identifying needs and aligning with internal capabilities.
• Achieve or exceed company sales targets for West Territory.
• Research and qualify target companies including global pharma, biotechs, and academic institutions.
• Travel as needed to meet clients and present solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing and commercial operations to develop prospect lists and territory plans.
• Communicate sales pipeline to internal stakeholders via CRM.
