Sentara Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse – Physician Practice for a remote weekend day shift (Sat, Sun, Mon, 7am–7:30pm). Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, assisting with procedures, administering medications and immunizations, and coordinating care in an ambulatory clinic.

Required ADN with RN license; BSN preferred. Experience in ambulatory care and strong EHR skills are expected.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state is required; NCLEX-RN passed.
• AMB-BC certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic/medical-surgical nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and perform triage in person or by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and population health outreach.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
