Job summary

Sentara Health seeks a Registered Nurse for a remote weekend day shift (Sat, Sun, Mon, 7am-7:30pm) in a physician practice setting. You will assess patients, assist with examinations and procedures, administer medications and immunizations, and coordinate care across the clinic team.

The role requires an ADN with BSN preferred, 1–2 years of ambulatory or medical-surgical experience, active RN license, and NCLEX-RN completion.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state RN license required; NCLEX-RN required; AMB-BC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting.
• Assess patients, assist with examinations and procedures, administer medications and immunizations, and provide education and care coordination.
• Manage triage, follow-up, and communication with patients between visits; coordinate with physicians and staff.
