Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in a physician practice setting for a remote weekend day shift (Sat, Sun, Mon 7am–7:30pm). The RN will triage, assess patients, assist with procedures, and manage immunizations and medications in an ambulatory clinic.

Minimum ADN required; BSN preferred. 1–2 years ambulatory or clinic nursing experience is preferred, with an active RN license and NCLEX-RN completion. A candidate may receive a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ambulatory, clinic, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state RN license and NCLEX-RN completion required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Assess patients, assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations; educate patients.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and care continuity; document in EHR.
• Support population health outreach and triage by phone and in person.
