Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for a Physician Practice in a remote weekend day shift role (Sat, Sun, Mon 7am–7:30pm). You will provide nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assess patients, assist with procedures, administer medications and immunizations, and educate patients while coordinating care.

The role emphasizes triage by phone and in person, documentation in the electronic health record, and collaboration with physicians and office staff to support population health

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license; NCLEX-RN passed; AMB-BC preferred.
• Experience with triage, chronic disease management, and immunizations.
• Proficient in EHR and patient education; care coordination.

Responsibilities
