Job summary

Mindoula seeks a Washington Certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialist to assist members statewide. The role is largely remote with occasional community-based work (20%).

You must be fully WA-certified as a Peer Support Specialist to be considered. Role focuses on planning care, assessing client needs, and coordinating with the Substance Use Disorder Program, primary care, managed care organizations, and community agencies to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be WA-certified as a Peer Support Specialist.
• Experience in recovery programs or peer support.
• Caring, compassionate approach with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and document interventions based on assessments.
• Provide support to members in various settings and assist with support groups.
• Contribute to case management meetings for a team-based approach.
• Complete documentation for member contacts, touches, and care plans per policies.
• Communicate professionally with members, families, physicians, and community agencies.
• Follow chain of command for concerns or recommendations.
• Achieve set goals/KPIs and promote Mindoula's programs.
• Engage in community outreach and represent Mindoula and the Substance Use Disorder program.
