Job summary

Mindoula seeks a Washington Certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialist to assist members statewide. This role is primarily remote, with occasional community-based work about 20% of the time.

You must be WA-certified as a Peer Support Specialist to be considered. As a Peer Recovery/Support Specialist, you will plan care, assess client needs, complete screenings, refer clients to resources, and coordinate with the SUD program team, primary care, managed care, and community agencies to provide

Qualifications

• WA-certified Peer Support Specialist required.
• Experience in recovery programs preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and document interventions.
• Provide support to members across settings and assist with support groups.
• Contribute to case management meetings for a team approach.
• Complete documentation for member contacts and care plans per policy.
• Communicate professionally with members, families, physicians and community agencies.
• Follow chain of command when sharing concerns or recommendations.
• Achieve set goals/KPIs for the role.
• Represent Mindoula and the SUD program in community and outreach efforts.
• Participate in performance improvement processes and initiatives.
• Promote responsible stewardship of Mindoula's resources.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
• Partner with enrollment team to grow member census.
• Other duties as assigned.
