Job summary

Carrington is seeking a senior Post Close leader to manage all aspects of funded loan deliveries, endorsement guarantees, records, and due diligence. This remote role requires strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration to ensure loan quality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Business and 7–15 years in mortgage operations, with a proven ability to improve processes, lead teams, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent.
• 7–10 years’ experience in managing at least one aspect of the Loan Origination Process.
• 10–15 years of mortgage industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire/train staff; plan, assign and direct work; monitor performance; reward and discipline; address complaints; resolve problems.
• Ensure Post Close operations comply with policies, procedures, regulations, SLAs and loan quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, IT, Treasury and other areas to ensure loan quality and monetary control.
• Create a culture aligned with core values, focusing on execution and customer focus.
• Develop and implement training to improve policies and efficiency.
• Liaise with staff, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
• Work with IT on system enhancements to improve Post Close efficiency and quality.
• Provide exception-based review of loan circumstances and conditions.
• Assist in interviewing and hiring new department managers.
• Audit staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluate performance trends and implement solutions for audit findings.
• Conduct weekly Post Close Manager meetings and provide feedback.
• Facilitate relationship building with senior Operations leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
