Job summary

Carrington is seeking a leader to manage Post Close operations for funded loans, with remote work from home. You will oversee loan delivery, endorsement guarantee, records management, due diligence, PCCD compliance, and staff development, while aligning with senior management on loan quality and risk controls.

The role requires 7–15 years in loan origination or mortgage experience, a business degree, and a track record in driving efficiency, training, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in managing at least one aspect of the Loan Origination Process.
• Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of mortgage industry experience in general.

Responsibilities

• Lead post close operations and ensure adherence to policies, procedures and laws.
• Hire and train staff; assign work; monitor performance; reward and discipline; resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and SLAs; monitor loan quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Secondary Markets, Operations, QC, Servicing, IT and Treasury to maintain loan quality.
• Develop a department culture aligned with company values; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement training to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Audit staff and processes for policy compliance; address audit findings.
• Conduct weekly Post Close Manager meetings; provide coaching.
• Foster relationships with VPs/Directors of Operations across regional centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
