Job summary
Aon plc is seeking an AVP/VP of Pharmacy Analytics to lead the design and implementation of analytics solutions across pharmacy claims, PBM contracting, formulary strategy, and specialty pharmacy.
This senior leader will translate complex data into actionable executive-ready insights, partnering with clinical, actuarial, data science, and technology teams to deliver scalable analytics and client-facing guidance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or related healthcare data environments.
- Deep understanding of pharmacy benefits, PBM operations, claims adjudication, pricing, rebates, and formulary design.
- Experience translating claims data into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Strong leadership of analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the pharmacy analytics strategy, roadmap, and delivery model aligned with client priorities.
- Oversee analytics related to pharmacy claims, utilization, pricing, rebates, and PBM performance.
- Translate complex analyses into executive-ready insights and client narratives.
- Partner with clinical, actuarial, data science, product, and technology teams to deliver scalable analytics.
- Support PBM evaluations, market checks, audits, and vendor performance reviews.
- Identify cost-efficiency opportunities and inform pharmacy benefit design and interventions.
