Job summary

Aon is seeking an AVP/VP of Pharmacy Analytics to lead the design and delivery of analytics solutions across pharmacy claims, PBM contracting, and formulary strategy. This senior role acts as a subject‑matter expert and will partner with clinical, actuarial, data science, and technology teams to drive scalable analytics and client insights.

You will oversee teams, ensure methodologies are sound and well‑documented, and translate complex data into strategic guidance for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharmacy analytics, or related healthcare data environments.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy benefits, PBM operations, claims adjudication, pricing methodologies, rebate structures, utilization management, formulary design, and specialty pharmacy.
• Experience translating analyses into strategic recommendations for clients or senior leadership.
• Strong leadership experience managing analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of pharmacy analytics solutions across pharmacy claims, PBM contracting, formulary strategy, and specialty pharmacy.
• Translate complex analytics into executive-ready insights and client-facing narratives.
• Partner with clinical, actuarial, consulting, data science, product, and technology teams to build scalable analytic solutions.
• Provide leadership and direction to analytics team members and monitor industry trends and regulatory changes.
