Job summary

Aon plc in the United States seeks a seasoned AVP/VP of Pharmacy Analytics to design and lead analytics solutions across pharmacy claims, PBM contracting, formulary strategy, and specialty pharmacy. This role reports to senior leadership and drives data-driven insights to optimize client outcomes.

You will mentor analytics teams, collaborate with clinical, actuarial, data science, product, and technology partners, and ensure methodologies are robust and actionable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharmacy analytics, or related healthcare data environments.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy benefits, PBM operations and claims adjudication.
• Proven experience translating pharmacy analytics into strategic client recommendations.
• Strong leadership in managing analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient with large healthcare datasets and analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy analytics strategy, roadmap, and delivery model aligned with client priorities.
• Oversee analytics related to pharmacy claims, utilization, pricing, rebates, formulary management, specialty pharmacy, and PBM performance.
• Translate complex analyses into executive-ready insights and client narratives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scalable analytic solutions and reporting capabilities.
• Provide leadership and coaching to analytics team members and ensure quality controls.
