Job summary

Aon Corporation's Health Solutions team is growing, seeking an AVP/VP of Pharmacy Analytics to lead design and implementation of analytics solutions across pharmacy benefits, PBM contracting, and formulary strategy.

This senior role requires translating complex analyses into executive guidance, partnering with clinical, actuarial, data science, and technology teams, and delivering scalable analytics to clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/S degree requirements related to analytics, data science, or healthcare.
• Experience translating complex analyses into strategic recommendations for clients or senior leadership.
• Strong leadership in analytics teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with large healthcare datasets and analytics tools.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management including prioritization and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of pharmacy analytics solutions.
• Oversee analytics related to pharmacy claims, utilization, pricing, rebates, formulary management, specialty pharmacy, clinical programs, and PBM performance.
• Translate complex pharmacy and financial analyses into executive-ready insights and client-facing narratives.
• Partner with clinical, actuarial, consulting, data science, product, and technology teams to develop scalable analytic solutions.
• Support PBM evaluations, market checks, audits, vendor performance reviews, and pharmacy strategy engagements with data-driven insights.
• Identify cost-efficiency opportunities, trend drivers, outliers, program gaps, and member-level patterns for design and intervention strategies.
• Ensure analytic methodologies are sound, repeatable, and well-documented.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients on methodology, findings, interpretation, and implications.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to analytics team members.
• Monitor pharmacy industry trends, regulatory changes, alternative therapies, and PBM market dynamics.
